Usage
These battery powered LED strobe lights are a great replacement for glow sticks or other light-based signaling devices.
Intended to be inserted into a lobster buoy to mark the location of the hoop net, these strobes are great for lobster, crab hoop net fishing or any other uses where a flashing light is suitable for marking a location.
They have a multiple-lip o-ring seal and the body of the light is a sealed single plastic housing--Please do notice that even though they are water resistant, they are NOT for continuous submersion.
Feature
These Lights have an internal sensor that turns off the strobe during daylight and on in dark conditions.
You can partially unscrew the lens when not in use or simply remove the batteries.
Advanced Fresnel Lens Amplifies Light--They can be seen at an approximately 3/4 to 1 mile in favorable conditions
Wide Range Energy Conservative Circuit Allows Battery Life To Be Extended--With fresh batteries, these strobes can function for over a week of continuous use
Care
- Rinse and dry after use
- Tighten the lens to prevent leakage, do not over tighten
- Apply some Dow 4 grease to the contact to prevent corrosion
- These strobes should have an extended lifetime with proper care.
